Personal Data Dictionary

This is the help text the console shows in the help panel on this page.

An inventory of the personal data types your organization processes. Each entry is one type of personal data (for example email addresses, health records or salary information) and links it to the assets, suppliers and processing activities that handle it. Available on The Scale plan; Owners, Managers and Members can view it.

The List

  • Columns: Data type, Sensitivity (Low, Medium, High, Critical), Next review and DPIA status.
  • Filters: Unmapped, Sensitive and Overdue review.
  • Click a row to open the entry.

Actions

  • New entry (Owners and Managers) — add a data type.
  • Seed defaults (Owners) — fill an empty dictionary with the built-in GDPR defaults.
  • Export CSV and Export PDF (Owners and Managers) — download the whole dictionary.

Usage

DPOs use the dictionary to keep a clear picture of what personal data is processed, where it lives and whether safeguards such as DPIAs are in place. Entries without links, special-category entries without a DPIA and entries past their review date appear as cards in the DPO Cockpit.
