Notifications & Alerts
This is the help text the console shows in the help panel on this page.
The Notifications page centralises all system-generated alerts in one place. Notifications are created automatically when the platform detects something that needs your attention, for example a domain that is about to expire, a failed asset monitoring check, a supplier review or contract that is due to expire, or a change to a supplier questionnaire.
Severity Levels
Each notification has one of three severity levels, shown by a colored icon on the left:
- Critical (red) — Requires immediate attention. These also appear in the Critical tab and trigger a banner on the Dashboard.
- Warning (orange) — Something needs follow-up soon but is not yet urgent.
- Info (blue) — Informational updates that do not require immediate action.
Tabs
- All — Shows every notification regardless of status or severity.
- Unread (green badge) — Shows only notifications you have not yet opened.
- Critical (red badge) — Shows only critical-severity notifications. Use this tab to triage the most urgent items first.
The tab that opens first can depend on your role focus; you can always switch.
Reading Notifications
- Unread notifications are highlighted and have a colored left border matching their severity.
- Click any notification row to mark it as read. The highlight and border are removed immediately.
- If a notification is linked to a specific asset, a View asset button opens that asset on the Assets page. Supplier questionnaire notifications show a button such as Review it, Open the draft or See what changed.
Mark All Read
When you have unread notifications, a Mark all read button appears in the top-right corner of the page. Clicking it clears all unread indicators at once.
Pagination
Notifications are paginated. Use the controls at the bottom of the list to navigate between pages or change how many notifications are shown per page (25 / 50 / 100 / 200).
