URL: https://docs.autociso.io/console/operations/lifecycle/
Description: Lifecycle Command Center (sidebar: Operations > Lifecycle (JML)) standardizes access changes during key employment events, reducing the risk of orphaned accounts and improving onboarding speed.

*This is the help text the console shows in the help panel on this page.*

## Joiners, Movers, and Leavers

Lifecycle Command Center (sidebar: Operations > **Lifecycle (JML)**) standardizes access changes during key employment events, reducing the risk of [orphaned accounts](https://docs.autociso.io/console/ciso-reports/stale-accounts/) and improving onboarding speed. It is part of [The Seed plan](https://docs.autociso.io/getting-started/plans-and-features/) and higher; on other plans the page explains that employee lifecycle is not in your plan.

### Tabs
- **Joiner (Onboarding)**: [Create a joiner](https://docs.autociso.io/product/lifecycle/onboarding/) and get a [To-Do list of the access they need](https://docs.autociso.io/console/operations/onboarding/), generated from your access profiles. The **Suggest access for a job title** panel shows what peers in a similar role already have, as input for writing a profile.
- **Leaver (Offboarding)**: Track the [decommissioning of accounts](https://docs.autociso.io/product/lifecycle/offboarding/) when an employee leaves the company.
- **Access Profiles**: [Define which access each kind of new hire needs](https://docs.autociso.io/console/operations/access-profiles/), based on department, job title and similar attributes.

The red badges on the first two tabs show how many cases are open. [Role changes (movers)](https://docs.autociso.io/console/ciso-reports/high-risk-lifecycle/) do not have their own tab yet.

### Lifecycle Cases
Cases track the progress of these events from Open and In progress to Completed (or Cancelled), ensuring no step is missed during the transition.

### Cancelling a Case
[Owners and managers](https://docs.autociso.io/getting-started/roles-and-permissions/) can cancel an open joiner or leaver case with the **Cancel case** action on the case. Remaining items stop being tracked and the action cannot be undone. The [audit log](https://docs.autociso.io/console/settings/audit-trail/) records how many access items were still outstanding; no reason is requested.
