# Backup Test Live Session

## Backup Test — Live Session

This is where you run a [backup and recovery test](https://docs.autociso.io/console/iso/backup-tests/). Click **Start Live Session** to begin, then work through each scenario step by step, recording outcomes as you go. The page shows the scheduled date, the start time and the elapsed time.

### Scenarios
The list on the left shows each scenario with a status badge. Select one to see its steps and, where set, its target recovery time ("RTO: n min"). The last entry, **Sign-off & Result**, stays locked until every step in every scenario is done.

### Steps
For each step click **Done** (passed) or **Failed**. You can add an optional note for observations, error messages or deviations.

### AI Observer
The AI Observer panel on the right adds observations as you mark steps, flagging anything notable. The page refreshes itself every 5 seconds.

### Sign-off & Result
When all steps are marked:
1. Choose the **Overall Result**: Pass, Partial or Fail. The **RTO Summary** shows each scenario's outcome and recovery time.
2. Under **Participant Sign-off**, participants who are AutoCISO users click **Sign**. For participants without an account, an [Owner or Manager](https://docs.autociso.io/getting-started/roles-and-permissions/) clicks **Confirm Presence**.
3. When everyone has signed, AutoCISO generates the PDF report. **Download PDF Report** saves it, and "Evidence stored (A.8.13)" confirms the [evidence record](https://docs.autociso.io/console/iso/evidence/).
